A simple hypothetical case about the presence and punctuality of professionals in health services is presented. From this, some considerations on ethics in Occupational Therapy are derived. The author invites us to think about the topic and conduct an ethical review from three angles: the current professional law, the principles of bioethics, and ethical deliberation. In the first two, resolving the case is impossible; the answer will be issued from ethical deliberation. Occupational Therapy in Colombia needs a renewal of its professional law, begin training in ethics from the foundation terms in university, and generate interdisciplinary spaces for discussion, especially at the level of professional practices.
