Orden Adjetivo-Sustantivo: Un Análisis de Error de Los Estudiantes Colombianos de Inglés

Resumen

Este artículo explora el desafío del orden del adjetivo-sustantivo para los estudiantes colombianos que están estudiando inglés. Para entender este desafío con más detalle, este artículo compara las reglas para el orden del adjetivo-sustantivo en inglés y español, describe las implicaciones de las diferencias de este orden entre los dos idiomas para el estudiante colombiano y propone la traducción como método de enseñanza para ayudar a los estudiantes colombianos de inglés a reducir la frecuencia de estos errores. Se necesita más investigación para proporcionar a los maestros más información sobre este problema; tal vez, centrándose específicamente en una de las dos habilidades en las que se produce el error, ya sea escritura o expresión oral.

Andrew John Connolly, Universidad EAN, Colombia

is an English teacher with over 8 years teaching experience. Currently, he is a teacher at Universidad EAN in Bogota, Colombia. Alongside this he is a certified IELTS (International English Language Testing System) examiner and holds a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Leicester. His main interests within the field of English Language Teaching are CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning), error analysis, exam design, and teaching English for Academic purposes all with a focus, where possible, on the Colombian context.
