Enletawa Journal

Enletawa Journal is an electronic scientific journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, and short articles in Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese on foreign language teaching, applied linguistics, and language studies. Enletawa is aimed at researchers from the international scientific community and master’s or doctoral students. Enletawa follows a "double-blind" peer-review process to select its content. Its publication frequency is continuous (January-June and July -December), through two issues a year, and its articles are published in immediate open access under the "Diamond" model. In other words, at any stage, the journal has no costs for authors, as it is financed by the Master's Degree in Language Teaching of the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia.

 

Profile: Issues in Teachers' Professional Development
This journal is led by the PROFILE research group at Departamento de Lenguas Extranjeras—Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Bogota campus. It is a publication mainly concerned with sharing the results of classroom research projects, reflections, and innovations undertaken by teachers of English as a second or foreign language, as well as by teacher educators and novice teacher-researchers. Starting from the assumption that our professional knowledge is enriched by diverse members of our academic community, the journal welcomes papers from across the world, at different educational levels, and in a wide range of contexts. In sum, the Profile journal falls under the areas of language education and applied linguistics; it addresses topics in the learning and teaching of English as a second or foreign language and in teacher education in the same field. It is addressed to an international readership of pre- and in-service teachers.


Íkala, Revista de Lenguaje y Cultura
Íkala, Revista de Lenguaje y Cultura is a scientific, refereed, online, quarterly journal that delivers high-quality, open-access content. Íkala aims to provide an international forum for sophisticated, yet grounded, scholarly debates on current issues in the field of languages and cultures, written in English, Spanish, Portuguese, or French.

 

Folios
Folios is a publication of the Faculty of Humanities of the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, which contributes to scientific communication in the areas of humanities and their pedagogies. Published every six months, Folios publishes original articles resulting from research on topics relevant to its thematic spectrum. Such articles may take the form of research reports, systematic reviews, or reflective essays of a scientific nature. Every article published in Folios has undergone double-blind peer review by experts in the field and a rigorous formal review process. Folios maintains a permanent open call for papers, with the edition closing in February and August, for publication in January and June of each year.

 

Lenguaje
Lenguaje is a biannual, peer-reviewed, and indexed scientific journal specializing in language studies. Lenguaje is aimed at university professors, researchers, and undergraduate and graduate students, serving as a space for disseminating new knowledge and for dialogue on research advances in the language sciences.


HOW - Asociación Colombiana de Profesores de Inglés
HOW is a biannual publication led by ASOCOPI, the Colombian Association of Teachers of English. It is a journal by and for teachers of English who wish to share the outcomes of educational and research experiences intended to deepen understanding of English language teaching practices. Therefore, the journal falls within the field of education, specifically the teaching and learning of English as a second or foreign language.


Zona Próxima
Zona Próxima is a publication dedicated to promoting high-quality research in language, culture, and education since 2000. Our journal provides a platform for the dissemination of original works on relevant topics in these areas, fostering the exchange of knowledge and perspectives. Research results, experiences, reflections, and reviews are published in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. It is a semiannual publication of the Institute of Languages at Universidad del Norte (Barranquilla, Colombia).

 

Colombian Applied Linguistics Journal -CALJ
The Colombian Applied Linguistics Journal (CALJ) is a peer-reviewed journal published in Bogotá, Colombia, by the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas for a global audience of professionals in education interested in research and teaching issues in the field of Applied Linguistics for the Teaching of English. It disseminates partial or final results of research in language teaching.

 

Avances en Educación y Humanidades
The journal Avances en Educación y Humanidades ( Advances in Education and Humanities), published by the Faculty of Education and Human Sciences at the University of Córdoba, serves as a platform for disseminating scientific work in Education and the Human Sciences. Advances in Education and Humanities is published digitally semiannually and features articles in the aforementioned fields, provided they contribute to the scientific development of these disciplines.
