GiST – Education and Learning Research Journal is a peer-reviewed, Diamond Open Access journal published by Institución Universitaria Colombo Americana (ÚNICA). Dedicated to advancing the fields of bilingual and multilingual education, language education, and teacher education, GiST publishes original, high-quality research that contributes to scholarly dialogue worldwide.

The journal releases two issues per year, in June and December, and welcomes submissions on a rolling basis. By featuring research from a broad spectrum of global contexts, GiST actively promotes international academic exchange. To maximize the reach and impact of its content, the journal is indexed in leading national and international databases and provides free, unrestricted access to all articles through OJS. In alignment with open science principles, all content is published under a CC BY-NC Creative Commons license.
